Korea Security Certification-Neviworks Signs MOU for Non-Face-to-Face Medical Services

[Security News Reporter Lee Sang-woo] Korea Security Authentication (CEO Baek Geon-dae) and Naviworks (CEO Won Jun-hee) signed a business agreement to prepare for the activation of non-face-to-face medical services and various digital healthcare industries in the post-COVID-19 era, and will jointly develop and market the ‘Security Authentication Platform-based Smart Healthcare and Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality Services’ business.

Korea Security Certification provides its integrated security certification platform (OKey) product and links user authentication methods and authentication methods with Naviworks' smart healthcare service. Korea Security Certification is a company specializing in user and IoT self-authentication solutions, and possesses various authentication technologies such as OTP, PKI certificate, and FIDO as well as medical security authentication. In particular, the OKey solution supports authentication methods that do not require personal information.

Naviworks is a simulation company, and in the digital healthcare field, it provides services that optimize hospital operation and management efficiency with 'Vritual Hospital', which grafts the concept of 'digital twin', which virtually implements and tests the real world, onto hospitals.

In this agreement signing ceremony, the representatives of Korea Security Certification and Naviworks said, “Both companies will play a pivotal role in achieving upward standardization of medical care through cutting-edge technologies such as virtual surgical training and efficient hospital management systems, and in implementing personalized medical diagnosis, smart reservations, and remote treatment.” They also said, “We hope to provide stable services in various fields such as cloud, AI, AR, VR, XR, smart factories, and smart defense of the 4th Industrial Revolution.”
