Kyewon Arts University Signs Business Agreement with Naviworks

[Korea University Newspaper Reporter Young-eun Cho] On the 13th, Kye Won Arts University (President Soo-geun Song) signed an industry-academia cooperation MOU with Naviworks (CEO Jun-hee Won), a virtual reality service company.

The agreement was signed to establish a cooperation system that can foster future talents who will lead the era of digital transformation, including domestic virtual reality, augmented reality, and extended reality.

Through the agreement, the two institutions agreed to actively cooperate on the following: △discovering and promoting industry-academia cooperation projects, △cultivating specialized personnel required by industries (organizations), △contributing to the local community through industry-academia cooperation education volunteer activities and research activities, △cooperating with industry-academia integrated field training, job creation/startup support, and △other mutually agreed upon matters.

President Song Soo-keun said, “Through this business agreement, our university will foster customized talents that fit Naviworks through internships and field training, and Naviworks will establish a cooperative system that secures strategic talents through this, and we expect to lead the domestic AR/VR industry and the future Metaverse service industry.”
