(Seoul = News 1) Reporter Hwang Deok-hyeon = On the 29th, Naviworks, a metaverse company that is providing 3D digital maps of the entire Korean Peninsula, announced that it has won a contract for the K-UAM research project led by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute.

Since its establishment in 2000, Naviworks has developed a platform for virtual environment composition, space authoring tools, and content authoring tools, which are core metaverse technologies, using 100% domestic software technology.

Naviworks participated in a large-scale demonstration project to test in a real-world environment ahead of the commercialization of the next-generation transportation system, Urban Air Mobility (UAM), which is being promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. It was selected as the project manager for the Korean Urban Air Mobility Virtual Integrated Operation Platform project.

Naviworks will be in charge of the overall control system for the UAM virtual integrated operation platform.

Naviworks plans to build a hyper-realistic world between the real world and the augmented world, or virtual world, through the urban airport mobility project.

First, we plan to develop a Korean-style metaverse integration platform and apply broadband digital twin technology that digitizes the real world based on it.

Through this project, Naviworks aims to advance B2G and B2B platforms and leap forward as an urban metaverse specialist that connects the virtual and real worlds.
