【Today Newspaper Reporter Park Na-rae】 Naviworks, a virtual training system specialist, successfully held the ‘2022 K-Tank AI Challenge’.

The challenge held on the 28th was broadcast live on YouTube’s Defense TV. It was hosted by Naviworks, the Korea Defense Technology Association, and the Republic of Korea Army Headquarters, and implemented tactical training simulations on a virtual battlefield by grafting artificial intelligence (AI) technology based on the domestically produced K-armored model.

Seven teams selected from around 120 teams competed against each other using AI engagement models developed using tank battle simulators provided in advance.

The event was held by Naviworks’ advanced metaverse virtual training platform VTB-X and AI algorithms developed by the participants, and is expected to provide a glimpse into the future of next-generation AI K-tank battles.
