Urban metaverse platform company Naviworks won the Maeil Media Group Chairman’s Award at the 19th Korea New Growth Management Awards held at Maeil Media Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, hosted by MBN, Maeil Business Newspaper, and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

Naviworks was recognized for developing the urban metaverse service platform ‘STAR XR’ and supporting the easy and quick implementation of metaverse services through the use of service templates such as authoring tools, management of authored resources, and application distribution functions for authored content.

It is evaluated that it laid the foundation for resolving urban issues through IT convergence and digitalization, eliminating gaps between regions, generations, and the rich and poor through interconnectivity, and securing competitiveness as a megacity within inclusion and diversity by uniting citizens.

The Korea New Growth Management Awards are given to creative and innovative companies that will lead the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
