Metaverse specialist Naviworks announced that it has completed the pilot operation of the world's first public metaverse platform, 'Metaverse Seoul', through a contract with Seoul City, and will begin service today (the 16th).

'Metaverse Seoul' will realize the core values ​​of freedom, companionship, and connection through services in five areas: economy, education, taxation, administration, and communication. A total of seven documents, including a copy of the resident registration, a copy of the resident registration, and a health insurance premium payment confirmation, can be issued, and various opinions can be presented to Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon by visiting the Metaverse Mayor's Office.

'Metaverse Seoul' was built by Seoul City developing it directly instead of using an existing platform. The maximum number of concurrent users is around 3,000, and a Seoul city official said, “We can increase the number of servers depending on the usage in the future.”

Meanwhile, interest in the developer of this ‘Metaverse Seoul’ is also increasing. Naviworks is a metaverse specialized company that provides urban metaverse services encompassing smart cities, and Naviworks recently won a contract for the Seoul Tax Square and Digital Culture Foundation metaverse linkage projects, establishing itself as a metaverse company that is helpful in real life.
