On the 19th, Konyang University announced that it signed a business agreement with Naviworks, a digital transformation specialist company, at the Nonsan Creative Convergence Campus Myeonggok Information Center on the 18th to establish a mutual cooperation system for participation in a contract department for fostering talent in the defense industry and improving the innovation and growth of defense technology.

The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Konyang University President Yongha Kim, Vice President Imsoo Choi, Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation Group Yeonggi Hong, Director of Admissions Myeongjin Choi, Industry-Academic Specialist Professor Haenggeun Shim, and Naviworks CEO Junhee Won, Vice President Seongman Seo, Center Director Hyeonggyun Choi, and Manager Yeonggi Lee. Through this agreement, the two institutions agreed to cooperate in establishing a regional industry and industry-academia cooperation model for the future designation of Konyang University as a global university, while also promoting ▲mutual cooperation in virtual simulation technology (testing and evaluating power support systems) ▲mutual cooperation for improving the innovation and growth of defense technology ▲participation in contract departments for recruiting excellent talents in the defense XR and defense industry fields ▲mutual cooperation for R&BD development and training of specialized talents for activating the defense industry ▲mutual cooperation for operating manned/unmanned complex system education and training.
