Naviworks, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI)-based manned and unmanned complex combat systems, announced on the 14th that it was recently selected as an ‘Industrial Convergence Innovation Item and Leading Company’ by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in recognition of its advanced technologies such as virtual training and metaverse.

This selection is valid from the 1st of this month until December 31, 2026 in accordance with the Industrial Convergence Promotion Act.

Naviworks was selected as an industrial convergence leading company, and its products, the intelligent control digital twin platform ‘METAIEYES’, the metaverse platform ‘STAR-XR’, and the virtual training common framework ‘VTB-X’, were selected as industrial convergence innovation items.

First, ‘Metaeyes’ is a digital control platform that integrates AI and control technologies to support efficient operation and rapid response of public services such as indoor and outdoor control, energy management, disaster safety, and healthcare. In particular, it helps public institutions with data-based prediction, analysis, and decision-making by integrating smart cities, disaster safety, energy, and healthcare.

‘STAR-XR’ is a generative AI urban service platform that provides integrated services for administration, civil affairs, education, shopping, and other public services. Its main feature is that it supports the construction of metaverse services for local governments and public institutions quickly and efficiently through a platform that simplifies development and distribution.
