Naviworks, an IT company, announced on the 8th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sungsim Hospital of Hanlim University on the 1st.
This MOU aims to promote the development of the medical industry by applying IT technology to rapidly changing medical sites for the upcoming 4th Industrial Revolution and post-corona era. This agreement is expected to lead to further joint research and technological exchanges.
Executives from the both sides including the CEO of Naviworks and the head of Sungsim Hospital at Hanlim University attended the signing ceremony.
Naviworks is a company that specializes in digital transformation based on cloud services, Artificial Intelligence (AI), non-face-to-face system, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies. The company expected to introduce another innovation in a virtual Augmented Reality smart medical care system and the digital medical field as it has conducted a service platform for surgical training.
"The agreement will pave the way for the establishment of a virtual Augmented Reality smart care system, one of the core healthcare services in the post-corona era," said Jun-hee Won, CEO of Naviworks.
Sungsim Hospital of Hanlim University said it is establishing a virtual and Augmented Reality simulation center as well as developing a telemedicine system for foreigners. This agreement would lead to an innovative change in the digital medical paradigm by providing high-quality medical services for patients.
