Naviworks corporation, a participating company in the early employment contract department from Korea Polytechnic University, won the Education Minister's Award for its contribution to the development of the "early employment contract department leading university development project." Korea Polytechnic University (KPU) announced on the 18th that Naviworks corporation, a participating company in the early employment contract department, won the Education Minister's award for its contribution to the development of early employment contract department with KPU’s recommendation.
Starting with the Ministry of Employment and Labor's co-op pilot project in 2012, Naviworks is an industry-academic cooperation company fostering talented human capitals by participating in the "early employment contract department leading university" as well.
Naviworks is a company, specializing in cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), and extended reality (XR) technology based digital conversion, leads the construction of major infrastructure in smart cities such as advanced defense weapons systems, virtual reinforcement training solutions, digital healthcare, and smart cultural tourism.
Meanwhile, the early employment contract department is an educational system by which students are hired by participating companies as they enroll certain majors at certain colleges, allowing to obtain a four-year bachelor's degree through a three-year course.
KPU is currently recruiting early employment-type freshmen for the upcoming semester 2021 as well as applications for additional recruitment from February 22nd to 24th. Applicable companies could also make agreements by February 5th to participate in the projects.
